QVCOG has submitted $1,493,249 in requests for funding for projects in the Quaker Valley Council of Governments area.
Community Development Block Grant applications on behalf of seven municipalities were submitted to Allegheny County Department of Economic Development. Included in the 22 projects were sewer/water improvements; park and playground equipment; sidewalks, streets and alleys; and the demolition of blighted buildings. QVCOG member municipalities worked diligently with the QVCOG to identify potential projects on behalf of their communities. We will be informed later in the Fall as to which projects may move forward in the funding process. |
