Allegheny County InterCOG Council

Allegheny County Councils of Governments Working Together

Promoting intergovernmental cooperation for all municipalities in Allegheny County, Allegheny County InterCOG Council consists of the Executive Directors of COGs in Allegheny County:
  • Allegheny Valley North Council of Governments
  • Char-West Council of Governments
  • North Hills Council of Governments
  • Quaker Valley Council of Governments 
  • South Hills Area Council of Governments
  • Steel Rivers Council of Governments
  • Turtle Creek Valley Council of Governments

​Meeting throughout the year, the Allegheny County InterCOG Council serves as a forum for mutual concerns of COGs and for cross-boundary communication.  Shared concerns regarding program administration and state and regional policies are addressed through the Council.  The InterCOG Council also serves as a central point of contact for agencies and organizations seeking to efficiently and effectively communicate with representatives covering all areas of Allegheny County.
