Business Recycling

QVCOG Seeks Recycling Information from Area Businesses

Area businesses are invited to contribute to our region’s efforts to improve the environment.  Each year, QVCOG reports on the results of our residential and commercial recycling programs to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, in order to secure grant dollars to promote more recycling.

QVCOG has established a map of commercial properties that potentially recycle and is requesting those businesses to contribute information about their recycling efforts  to assist the community.  If your business recycles any of the following materials through a contracted recycling hauler or self-hauls to a recycling facility, please complete a 2-minute survey:
  • aluminum and steel cans,
  • glass,
  • plastics,
  • corrugated cardboard,
  • newspapers, and other mixed paper

These are materials that businesses recycle on their own--either though a pick-up from a recycling hauler or their own company program.  It is not necessary to report any recycling performed through a municipal recycling collection program.  In advance, thank you for your voluntary participation in this effort!  Your sharing of this information, and especially your recycling, is appreciated!

Complete the 2 minute survey here.
