The Pennsylvania Electronic Government Consortium (PAeGovC) is a non-profit statewide organization dedicated to assisting with digital, technological transformations for local governments. In partnership with the the Pennsylvania Association of Councils of Governments (PACOG), PAeGovC is launching a municipal document scanning program offering local governments the opportunity to convert paper documents into electronic formats. To achieve economies of scale, a stronger negotiating position with private sector service providers, and more competitive funding, PAeGOVc is conducting a survey of document scanning needs in order to estimate quantities. Quaker Valley COG is assisting this effort by hosting the survey. Participation in the survey is open to local governments in Pennsylvania. Completion of the survey is not an obligation to conduct any program or make any purchase. It is an estimator for the purposes of examining the benefit of a group purchasing solutions.
